Kenwood NX-5000 Series PASSWORD removal service

• The service is provided remotely for customers from the USA, Canada, and Europe. There is no need to physically send the radio to us.
• The following types of passwords are deleted:
  • Password for reading (Read Authorization Password) in KPG-D1/D1N
  • Password for writing (Owerwrite Password) in KPG-D1/D1N
  • Password for the embedded text message
• The password value itself does not appear in the process and is not provided to the customer in any form.
• After the service is provided, you will simply be able to read the radio using the KPG-D1/D1N software, as if there were no password.
• All the data that was written to the radio, including frequencies, channel names, zone names, and so on, is preserved after the password reset!
• Each radio is paid for separately (if you have 2 radios, you buy 2, if 50, then 50, and so on).
• This service is not guaranteed due to its specificity.
• Service is not provided for stolen or other criminal radios.

Customer equipment requirements:

• Fast wired Internet (Internet via mobile data, DOCSIS, Starlink, etc., is not suitable).
• Computer running Windows 7, 10, or 11
• Programming cable with USB interface (we recommend genuine Kenwood cables)
• Fully charged radio with battery not older than 2 years (for portable radios) or power supply connected via UPS (for base radio) or a car with the engine running (for mobile radio)
