KWD-5107AD: License Key that activates P25 ARC4 Enhanced Encryption in the radio and enables secure encrypted voice and data communication in P25 mode.

  • Required for P25 ARC4 encrypted operation.
  • Supports both P25 conventional and trunking operation.
  • Also commonly referred to as ADP encryption (10 characters = 40-bit key length).
  • Fully compatible with Harris, L3Harris, Motorola Solutions, Tait, and EFJohnson radios with the RC4/ARC4 option available.
  • Requires firmware version 4.50 or higher.
  • Valid for the NX-5000 platform only.
